I used the quote "Earth without art is just eh."- unknown. I felt the emphasis should most the on the "earth" and "eh". I also felt that the "art" should be sort of emphasized too.. but I felt that it was less important. I made it still noticeable though. Also I felt that "earth without art" should be angled to be semi diagonal to express that they are more exciting and "is just eh" should be horizontal to express that it is slightly boring.
The design elements I used is line with the horizontal and diagonal lines. The "earth without art" are slanted to be semi diagonal to express that they are more exciting while the "is just eh" was made to be horizontal to express that it was boring and unexciting. I also used a lot of size. The words that stood out most to me were sized to be much bigger.
This is not my favorite picture that I have made. It was much more difficult than I expected it to be. I didn't know how to make the piece interesting without colors or shapes. :(
